San Antonio’s Tapestry of Time
It is estimated that the first inhabitants who made their home alongside the San Antonio River lived in this region for over 10,000 years. The first people were described as nomadic hunter – gatherers.
From those beginnings, the San Antonio we know today, has grown to become a vibrant city, with a colorful and rich history.
Along with that history comes extraordinary stories which helped shape the city and the way of life that San Antonians love today.
Many of these stories have faded into distant memories…if even known at all.
Here, those days of old come back to life. You will discover tales that will surprise you….many will shock you….but they all are woven together to create the unique tapestry of time that San Antonio has become.
